Thulium doped fiber amplifiers are designed for eye-safe operation for the wavelength between 1.8 and 2.03 µm. Our amplifiers achieve very good beam quality with an excellent output optical signal to noise ratio and peak power under < 100 kW. The amplifiers are well suited for amplifying broadly tunable and stable semiconductor seed sources to power levels up to 1mW.
